As a senior at St. Catherine University studying Marketing & Digital Strategy alongside Gender & Women’s Studies, I have always been drawn to the way communities form around musicians. But my real credentials come from being a well-seasoned fangirl, having lived and breathed fan culture from the eras of One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer to the massive global communities of K-pop groups like ENHYPEN and Tomorrow X Together.
This project is my love letter to live music and a chance to step out of my comfort zone as I prepare to dive into the real world. It is my opportunity to look at something I deeply love through a sharper, more tactical lens, and to engage with artists and genres outside my usual rotation, all in the hopes of decoding the magic that happens when a crowd turns into a community.
